Biography

Long joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club as Head of Wagering Product Strategy in 2024, responsible for Horse Racing and Mark Six lottery wagering product marketing, development, and data analytics.

After graduating from Harvard University with a Master’s degree in statistics, Long has spent over 20 years in the financial industry,assumed various leadership roles in fintech and derivatives trading. He pioneered the launch of an award-winning mobile app for multiple investment banks and private wealth management institutions to interact and trade structured products. Leveraging these past achievements, Long brings to the Club extensive experience in platform development, and adds values to the team in terms of customer behavioral analysis and know-how in simplifying complex products.

On a personal level, Long has been a keen horse racing fan for almost thirty years.
