Adrien Billon

Since graduating from business school nearly 22 years ago, Adrien has dedicated his career to the pari mutuel betting (pool betting ) industry. He began at PMU in France, where he worked for nearly 7 years as head of major remote accounts and then in the international department, marketing French races in both common and separate pools markets.

In 2009, as the French online betting market was preparing to open to competition, Adrien was recruited by BetClic, the leading online operator in France and Europe, as head of the horse racing product, a position he held for 3 years.

For over 12 years, Adrien has been the Commercial Director and a member of the management committee of the Carrus Group, founded in 1888, the Carrus Group is a major player in horse racing betting and related technologies. It is both a recognized technology provider (through its PMC and Carrus Gaming brands), a horse racing betting operator in Spain (through its subsidiary HAHE and its network of points of sale), and a service provider for organizing betting at over 250 racecourses in France, Belgium, Spain, Hungary and Switzerland.

Adrien was elected member of the Board of WoTA in August 2024.
